Samadhi refers to the state of pure consciousness and awakened awareness achieved through Shiva Dhyan Yoga meditation. The mind becomes totally still and you go beyond the thoughts and intellectual inner discourse. “nirvikalpa” means “not wavering, without doubt, free from change” and describes the state of thoughtlessness, where one is free from doubt, fear and any agitation of the mind. In Nirvikalpa Samadhi you go beyond the duality, ego, emotions, thoughts and you experience eternity. It is a state of enlightenment, a state of oneness, where you become one with SHIVA = Sky Harmony In Vast Awareness. You feel that you are one with SHIVA, the divine in you and outside of you. It is the ultimate goal of human existence. It is a state beyond the mind and can be described as infinite bliss, eternal peace, where thoughts disappear. In state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi you become timeless: it is a state which can last for many hours and several days.
